This petition is to allow step parents & step family members to be allowed rights to custody and/or visitation to minor children of no age limit, if there is no danger of the step parents/family members being involved in the minor children's lives.The law needs to be changed to give more rights to step parents/family members. Please remember while reading this petition there are many step parents/family members that still benefit the lives of children even after a divorce.Also please take the time to say a prayer for the step children of divorce & please sign this petition.Thank you to all who sign this petition from the step children of the world who have been hurt by parents who no longer allow their children to be in the lives of a step parent after a divorce.

    • dear bush my husband died on august 28 on a 3 wheeler, Ive been raising his 8 yr old since kindergarden, the natural mother never had anything to do with him, travis had sole custody and the mother took him from me, the grandparents are fighting her for custody so that he can live with me. So Im all for step parents having rights cause right now I could use that right. Is there anything you can do to help me get him back? Shauna Arnett
