  • I think it is a shame when actual mothers of children use the "child support system" for things other than the child. The system protects the mother's more often than realizing the father & step mother may be a much better suit for the childs welfare.

  • I have visitation rights and my ex is going to try to take them away. I have twins that are 10. I am looking for support because I think I have a shot at the first step for changing the laws. Please contact me if you can help..... If you have information about laws in other states. If you have fought your self. If you have a compelling story. I am the only step parent in Kansas that has rights, to my knowledge and my attoney's knowledge. My ex is going to try to take them away. And I am going to do everything legally possible to stop him!   • I love my two step kids! My husband is physical custody of both kids and their biological mom sees them rarely and is prego by another man( she isnt even married). So why shouldnt I be able to sign school papers ect. He cant do it as effectively by himself as he can with me helping!

  • Since my step-father died, I have been prevented from seeing my step-sister by her mother. I have known my sister since she was born and had previoulsy been in constant contact with her. It has been inexplicably painful and I miss her everyday.
