This is a petition against unethical behavior by blogger Trisha Haas of MomDot.

We are asking that sponsors quit supporting this blog; by continuing to sponsor MomDot they are giving their stamp of approval to this unethical behavior.

We are also asking that those who are currently part of her "Ethical Blogger" program remove it from their blogs.

The most recent unethical behavior was a post of secretly taken pictures of strangers in an airport along with insults. In one of these pictures; the person is clearly a minor and Trisha Haas wrote:
"She has braces, chubby face, blah blah, but she is FAT. Why are kids this overweight? Its not like she has birthed four kids.

WTF is the excuse for this?

If someone responds and tells me she has a thyroid problem, Im going to hurl on myself.

This girl needs to lay off the ho-hos before she ends up on someones blog

oh

too late."

This clearly is cyber-bullying a minor; which is wrong at any age but especially by an adult with a daughter of her own who sets the standard for an "Ethical Blogger" program.

    • I am a blog owner and MomDot's posts have disgusted me. Why would sponsors risk doing business with them?

    • Her behavior is uncalled for.Why would anyone want to support and defend a woman who has nothing better to do but make fun of a child?

    • How bloody pathetic....remove her now. She is nothing, and never will be.. not with her kind of comments. Obviously she has never watched a loved one suffer with Cancer.. hope she never has too.

    • It not only saddens me about the fat comments she made but what about the other girl who I would say is roughly 8-10 and posting a picture of her? It's just wrong to take pictures of minors and post them, worse to make fun of them! Clearly shows she has a lot of growing up to do. She must not have a lot of respect for herself if she can't respect others. I hate to think about what she is teaching that sweet little girl of hers. I certainly will not have anything else to do with her site!! Maybe this will help her learn but I have my doubts.
