More Info at:
We, the residents and property owners of Ogden Valley and more specifically, the Huntsville area, ask your support to DENY the rock crusher slated for The Rivers Cluster development.
We believe the worst scenario for the residents of Huntsville and the surrounding unincorporated area is to have a rock crusher installation.
Some reasons include:
Petitioner is requesting a design review when this activity has always been and should continue to be a conditional use.
Approval as a design review will be precedent setting for future developments
S1 zone does not allow this type of activity under a conditional permit.
We also request that you resolve all possible issues regarding two sewer installations and maintenance for The Rivers Cluster and Trappers Crossing developments. Due to the extended loss of power in the last two major outages in the Valley, (14 hours and 16 Hours) we request that any pumping of Sewage have backup power systems.

- The Crusher in the Fairways a couple of years ago caused noise and dust at our home 1/4 mile away - Why do we continue to allow these in the Valley?

- This could go on for years, then start happening in other locations once this one got approved. We could have constant rock crushing around us....doesn't belong in a recreational valley

- There is NO justification for a rock crusher except to make the developers more money. Please STOP coddling developers!

- You were appointed (not annointed) to represent the residents of Ogden Valley. Prove you are representing the people and NOT special interest few, who aim to profiteer off the silent majority.

- I am so sick of developers coming into our valley not caring at all about their impact on the people who live here. Its time to put a stop to it!!!

- Our valley is quickly becoming an industrialized comunity exploited by developers wanting to make a quick buck. They then move on to leave us the lifelong residents to endure the noise and pollution brought in. Our quality of life will be adversly affected by a rock crushing operation in this area. There are residents living with their young families in near proximity to this location:1/4 mile. There is also native wild game, and habitat that would be destroyed. Please do not let this operation into our comunity.

- I do not think that the Rock Crushing Operation is good for Huntsville or those who live on the south side of town.
