Petition to Remove "Artificial" from the formula feeding Section.

We as Forum members of the Mother and Baby Forum would like to see the word "Artificial" removed from the formula feeding support subsection. We find this word demeaning and offensive to the way we feed our children. Breast Milk Substitute would be a better heading.

    • Noone should be made to feel anything negative about the way they choose or NEED to feed their baby. "Artificial" is a demeaning word in the context it is used ~ that is why it's in the heading and that is why people are finding it offensive. The word is otherwise redundant.

    • The word "artificial" in the heading of this subforum is demeaning & demoralising to many women who have had no choice but to feed their babies formula...it would be greatly appreciated if this word was removed-it is totally uneccessary.
