Every month girls and women have to go through their periods. We, the undersigned, think it is unfair that we have to pay around 10 a month on sanitary protection (Tampax etc. ) when they are a necessary requirement. Condoms and other types of contraception are available to all on the NHS. We, the undersigned, think that forms of sanitary protection should also be available on the NHS.

- yes we should have free sanitary protection, we can't help having periods, men do not have to worry, so why should women be out of pocket every month? very unfair, or perhaps the government send all women a cheque for a tenner every month.
