Let the presenters have their say, and if they want to continue then why should it be taken off the air? If it wasn't for enthusiastic people pushing boundries and thinking up creative challenges, the world would be a seriously dull place. Get well soon Richard, and long live Top Gear!

  • Top Gear is an informative programme but, first and foremost, an entertainment show. If anything, Richard's accident will highlight the dangers of speed, not encourage others to take unnecessary risks. If you want to take a programme off air for being a bad influence, why not start with Jackass? Top Gear is a one-off, made particularly special by its presenters. It simply cannot be scrapped.

  • TG is informative, funny and the only show worth watching. The Beeb need to remember just who pays their wages before making decisons based on media furore and poor journalism found on their own News 24 and internet site.   • C'mon...we cant let this show fall...I'm sure it's the last thing Richard would want!! If TOP GEAR is going to be axed...why no ban every car show - VROOM VROOM or 5th gear for example!! Richard wouldnt have driven the vampire if he didnt think it was safe or well organised!
