This is a petition for residents of Peachtree City and Fayette County residents that support Rodney Pendleton and Area 54 Tattoo Shop. The Peachtree City Mayor and City Counsil are trying to take away the right Mr.Pendleton has to open a business and provide for his family. The mayor has made several comments that make it sound like discrimination against Mr. Pendleton and anyone else that has tattoos. So if you are a resident of Peachtree City and Fayette County and you support the right that Mr. Pendleton has to run his business without the government being involved thensign this petition.

- Fayette County needs to come into the present, open its mind, and leave the 1920's back in the 1920's

- One should not be discriminated against for having a form of self expression (tattoos, piercings, etc.) on their bodies. My husband is a tattoo artist and provides VERY WELL for our family. I don't need to have a job myself but enjoy the benefits of a combined income. The discrimination against Mr. Pendleton is an OUTRAGE. Get with the times already and quit making Fayette county & the surrounding cities a prehistoric community!

- I can not understand why the shop should be shut down. The guys that run the tattoo shop are good people, they should not be forced to lose their jobs because someone does not see art the way they do!

- If the mayor has enough time to get upset about tattoos he's obviously in the wrong line of work.

- This is so ridiculous. When will people learn to stop regulating other people just because they look/act/feel differently from you? Fascism at its finest.

- A tattoo shop in PTC is not going to effect the golf carting soccer mom's and delta pilots in your area. Have a heart Mr. Mayor. You should feel privilegded that someone has a tatto shop in your town.

- I, Mario Castillo, am also a tattoo artist and feel it's a form of discrimination to him, his family and to all of us that love this form of expression and art .

- With my fiance being a tattoo artist and providing for his family i think it is against the rights of Mr. Pendleton for someone to try and take away his only source of income and his way to provide a decent life for his family.

- Area 54 is the first and only thing Peachtree City has allowed to be addeed that has made me happy. Leave them be. They are hard workers and have themselves and families to support. I will be disgusted at The City if they close Area 54. I have lived here for almost twenty years and fully support the tattoo shop, its owner and employees.

- Every business has a right to exist in its district. They've done a great job with the place and aren't "corrupting the Peachtree City residents." I love the environment. It's clean and professional and deserves to stay.

- Of all the problems the economy has today, there is a fight against a tattoo shop that has been in business already for a couple of years? Are you kidding? Obviously the mayor has some personal issues. Condemning a person for his right to ink himself? I am sure that will help with your re-election. I will let every Combat Veteran and Military Personel that has a tatoo know, that you look down on them, even though they have the courage to put thier life on the line for your liberties, and freedom to be mayor. What a joke!
