We believe that Tim Latham, History and Government teacher at Lawrence High School, should have his contract renewed. He is an inspiring teacher and an asset to the community.

    • It is truly unfortunate that a teacher who inspires his students with his passion,and makes them love US History and want to learn about our Gov't, would be removed from his job because his POLITICS don't match every other teacher and administrator in Lawrence! Apparently, freedom of speech isn't available to all in Lawrence!

    • Mr. Latham is an outstanding teacher and does not deserve to be dismissed. You should feel very fortunate to have such a teacher to be part of your school system. Otherwise you will become part of the problem with public education and contribute to the dumbing down of American kids.

    • If there were teachers that were more like Tim Latham in our public school system, we wouldn't Home School our children, but they are far and few and it is school districts like yours that make people want to pull there kids out of the Public School System!
