Allow terminal patient's right to die via euthanasia!
To the People of the United States, The U.S. Congress, and whom it may concern:
We the undersigned all believe that it is unjust and unfair that people should not be allowed to have a doctor assisted termination of life. There are many benefits to this and shouldnt we the people have the right to choose if we would like to suffer the rest of our lives? We are not saying that if someone is depressed hat this should be allowed, we are saying if there are certain things that one should be allowed to end their life.
For Example: If a person has been diagnosed with a fatal disease and they would spend the final days, months, or years of their life in agony, then they should have the right to die in as little pain as possible. We do this for animals; if the owner does not want to see their animal in pain any longer then they can choose to have a veterinarian terminate that animals life.
As most of us know there has been incidents when a doctor assisted termination of life has been done. The U.S. famous case was featuring Former Dr. Jack Kevorkian. He was an avid campaigner of a terminal patient's right to die via euthanasia. He was currently released from jail after a 8 year sentence for murdering Thomas Youk.
Why shouldnt a terminal patient have the right to die in a less painful way? It is the right of a patient to not have to suffer and die in vain. The patient should have the right to be able to make the decision of, I can not and do not want to continue my life like this for ____ more days/months.
We the undersigned would like the United States as a whole to decide on whether or not a terminal patient has the right to die via euthanasia or not and for it not to be automatically a suicide or a murder.

- The right to die should be reserved for all. We put animals to sleep as a kind jesture to end greiveing but not our species. There are many things worse than death.

- I take care of my Father dieing of bone cancer. He has no quality of life and is suffering so horribly. It would actually be the more humane thing to do - assist the inevitable and give him the much needed and deserved relief.
