New space simulator based on Star Wars required

Dear LucasArts & Star War fans all around the globe!

This petition aims for a new game from LucasArts; it's a request for a new space simulator.

It has been a while since the mighty X-Wing and TIE fighter series came out to the PC and ended their saga with the game X-Wing Alliance. Years passed by and the community aches for a new space simulator to be able to explore the vast spaces of the Star Wars universe.

All we would need :
1) Good storyline for single player mode.
* All X-Wing games had this, with twist and all).
2) Moderate graphics
* Moderate means : No shiny, eyeball popping space. Nicely modeled and textured spaceships, stations and equipments are more than welcome.
3) Good controls and a bit of physics
* In the old days we did not have the opportunity to experience physics in space simulators, now it is the right time.
4) Good music which reacts to the situations (like it was in previous games)
5) Multi player mode with _more_ game modes than in earlier releases.

For the community : If you happen to agree on some of the points mentioned above or with the whole petition, you are kindly asked to sign it.

For LucasArts : I hope you take some minutes to think of it as a possibility for the future. The community is there if you need some proof (or ideas).

    • Make it more realistic in that one rebel fighter is worth about 2 imperial ones, No more missions where one fighter has 45 kills. Being outnumbered 4 to 1 should make me scared.

    • I agree with what the author of this petition wrote: a new "X-Wing Alliance-like" Star Wars game (with some extras) will be higly appreciated!!! I hope this petition will be seriously considered by Lucas Arts and I therefore invite as many people as possible to sign it!!!!

    • I'd love the ability to command/crew some of the larger ships, eg. Corellian Corvette, Nebulon B. That would make a complete game for me =D

    • One other possibility to add would be a free roam option to the game, allowing someone to take for example a Correllian Frigate on a space voyage from Tatooine to Corscant... It is just a suggestion, possibly along the lines of the Kobyarsha Maru for Star Trek Bridge Commander...

    • Realism realism realism! No floating HUDs. Force cockpit view, have all radars and info as viewable panels on the cockpit.
