To make American Idol a truly fair contest, their voting system needs to be revamped.

This is a petition to insist that the creators of AI register only one vote per phone number. This will eliminate the inability to get your vote counted, and allow for a true representation of America's votes.

Not many of us have the ability to stay on the phonelines for hours to get our voices heard.

This is truly the only fair way to provide for a true contest.

- Based on talent, Adam should have won. America is so upset its unbelievable. I am a HUGE fan of Adam and I am deeply dissapointed. Everyone knows who the true winner is. And he deserves the crown.Im not going to be watching American Idol next year just because of that elimination. RE-VOTE!

- This vote was obviously rigged! I couldn't get through to vote for Adam for 4 hours, while my friend who was voting for Kris got through every time she called. What's up with that? I knew last night when I couldn't get through to vote for Adam that the vote was rigged and Adam wouldn't be allowed to win.
