We The Who Dat Nation of New Orleans Louisiana and beyond

Petition Rodger Goodell and NFL to stop the immediate cease and desist orders served upon the local merchants of the great city of New Orleans.

The Term Who Dat and the Fleur-De-Lis is NOT Property of NFL and never has been. The chant of "Who Dat?" originated in minstrel shows and vaudeville acts of the late 1800s and early 1900s, and was then taken up by jazz and big band performers in the 1920s and 30s.Fleur-De-Lis can be found in many places long before heraldic times, as far back as Mesopotamia. It is essentially a stylized flower, and served as a decorative element and became associated over time with royalty, especially in the High Middle Ages this is before the NFL came into existence

Who Dat and the Fleur-De-Lis belongs to the people and not the NFL. You have no right to claim something as yours when you never owned it. Your recent action displays poor judgment and greed of the NFL. Your actions are inexcusable and bring discredit to yourself and the NFL.

We demand all actions to prohibit the printing and selling of WHO DAT.Fleur-De-Lis T-Shirts,end immediately.

    • You can't claim Who Dat for the NFL. It wasn't till the Saints did it big this year that the NFL even bothered wanting anything from them. Just goes to show how bandwagon like the NFL is themselves.
