We the citizens of the state of Ohio feel the newly imposed fee of $20 for late renewal of vehicle registrations is not in the best interest of the people of Ohio and should be abolished. While the late fee does acknowledge an exception for motorcycles, the late fee does not take into account seasonally used cars and trucks that may not be used on winter roads. This is further complicated by counties requiring e-check on these vehicles during winter months. Because of these instances the fee unfairly targets automotive hobbyists and families with multiple vehicles.

- I believe this fee is even more ridiculous than having to have a sticker on your car to drive it. We people of Ohio pay enough money in auto insurance & license plates. Why should we have to stand in line for 1/2 an hour to an hour out of our day just to get a sticker that says it doesn't work when its cold or wet. What? $73 is a lot for a sticker! And we have winter in Ohio! The least the state could do is have a sticker produced that will work!

- My birthday 12/26 Christmas time, kids, work, college for myself, snow, 1/1 holidy worked, I renewed on 1/4 and was charged the 20.00 which I don't feel was totally fair with respect to previous mentioned items and : if the fee was to start this year, is it fair to charge a person whoose birthday is in the previous year?

- This is another stupid idea by the legislature. A $20 late fee to register a boat trailer that isn't used in winter. That's as much as the original registration fee.

- If someone registers their vehicle on time, before the expiration date, there should be no late fees. Late fees should be applied only to renewals after the actual expiration. Very sneaky way to get extra money.
