This petition is very simple..Grammy Awards..Soul Train Awards.. American Music Awards.... PLEASE HONOR MISS TINA TURNER...... Tina Turner is a true iconic diva. she's been performing since 1957 and it's soo sad that she does not get any kind of honors.. Aretha, Patti, Diana and all the rest get award after award of merit and i feel that Tina is too many times looked over.. Forget the entire Ike Turner thing. Tina has been on top her game since 1985.. This woman has sold more concert tickets than any female entertainer in history.. her last tour made more money that the hottest boy band on the planet.. her legs.. her hair.. her voice.. everything is still totally in tact and miss turner needs to get her props as a living legend. At 62 years of age this woman needs to get some kind of lifetime achievement award because she's totally earned it.... so please sign and let's get Tina the props she needs

    • I believe that Tina Turner is one of the first and last great musicians of our time yet it seems she is ignored time and time again. I think its a combination of both ageism and reverse racism, either way its wrong. The woman has stood the test of time. She was a legend before Patti and before Aretha wanted R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Yet while Patti and Aretha continue to receive their props Tina has not. People need to recognize all the contributions to American music Tina has made. She is a legend and her work cannot be ignored.
