Salisbury is growing with more apartments, condos, townhomes and housing developments with little or no yard. We have several parks to take our dogs but they must remain on leash at all times.

We are a group of people researching the feasibility of building an off-leash dog park. Help us Make It Happen! We are in the process of creating a proposal requesting permission to build a double gated, 6' high fenced area for our dogs to socialize and play. This would also be a way to meet fellow dog lovers like ourselves.

We have several parks in Salisbury and many of them are used by dogs and their owners daily. However, there are some people who do not want to share their space with dogs who are illegally off leash, or, for that matter, with owners who do not pick up after their dogs.

Though leashed dogs and their conscientious owners are welcome in most of Concord's parks, we need a place for dogs to socialize off leash. In order to accomplish this goal with the maximum possible benefits for dogs, as well as for individuals who appreciate meeting others like themselves, we need your help and support.
