Mattel has unvieled the newest version of it's poster girl Barbie. A character by the name of "black canary". She's adorned in clothing suitable for that of a gentleman's club, but nothing acceptable for our children's bedroom toy chests. This petition is for those who want to stop the perversion of a truly imitatable "role model" that young girls have been able to rely on half a century. We are going to hold mattel accountable in hopes of stopping this atrocity. Mattel has spoken for Barbie. They're telling little girls it's ok to dress like this, because Barbie does. Mattel has warped her views and her calibur of class; they have garbled her voice. Barbie needs a NEW voice, and it's time Mattel realizes that.

    • That is horrible. Our children don't need to be exposed to that kind of degradation of women.

    • I believe that this Barbie is going to be the future toy that will put down ever single value that we parents are trying to install in our kids.

    • We are trying to straighten up our world and have a better place for our children to grow up in. This is definitely not the way to do things.

    • I have loved Barbie since I was a small child. She has always been a stylish and classy lady. A true role model. This is being lost. Shame on you Mattel.
