We are committed on getting Tupac Shakur a posthumous star on the Hollywood walk of fame . It would be a fitting tribute to a modern day legend who passed before his time. We will officially present this petition to members of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce as well as the honorary major of Hollywood Mr. Johnny Grant who is the head of the Hollywood Walk of Fame selection committee.Tupac Shakur known to millions of fans worldwide as 2pac was a true modern day icon.As far as popularity Tupac Shakur can easily be placed under the same category as Elvis Preslley. 2pac accomplished so much in the music industry and in entertainment in general that even nine years after his untimely death he still a remains a power full presence in society. Besides selling countless number of records and breaking worldwide marks for music sales 2pac also left a lasting impact on society. His poems, and musical work have been studied in various schools with courses on 2pac being taught in numerous colleges ranging from UC Berkley in Northern California, to the University of Florida, and the historic Morehouse college in Gerogia. It would take twenty plus pages + to list all of 2pac's accomplishments as a power full entertainer and a beloved human being. We encourage all members of the rap communitty to step up partcipate and spread the word. This pettion and moveemnt to get Tupac Shakur a much deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is being organaized by Muszamil a protege of the late Tupac Shakur and a member of his extended family.     • I'm shocked to find out that 2Pac does not have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He starred in his 1st movie role "Juice" by coming into the audition and blowing the directors away with his charisma and talent. Since then he's starred in every movie he's been in. 2Pac is also a musical genious. The man made 3 songs a day and predicted his own death. He has plenty of books written on him and has been scoped since he first came into the industry by the criminal system, FBI, activists, politicians, acting directors, you name it. He is definitely the people's modern day icon. Not only in the black communities, but he has tribes in Africa named after him, has a foundation for helping kids, has fanbases all over the world from Canada, Mexico, South America, Japan, Russia,etc. This man is a true global icon because of his touching music that relates to people all over the world and his desire to make the world a better place. Please honor Tupac Amaru Shakur also known as Makaveli.

    • Mr.Shakur was a born leader. With so many goals and aspirations, he would've been a truly bright man to lead society had he lived. Although he was only acting & rapping for about 4 yrs. he accomplished just so much. Leaving behind poetry, music videos, 100's of songs, his legacy lives on. Inspired by Nicholio Makaveli, 2Pac later changed his name to Makaveli, which was also the title of his last lp, which was released 2 monts after his death. 2Pac is a true American icon and him not being honored yet is taken personal to me as a crime. Hollywood please do the right thing.
