Due to recent alleged events regarding musicians Chris Brown and Rihanna, we request that all Chris Brown music and/or sound bites be removed from Hot 89.9's radio play indefinitely. Hot 89.9 is a large part of many Ottawa and surrounding area resident's lives, so we are making this request in order to keep the integrity of not only Hot 89.9, but of its loyal listeners. Playing this accused woman beater's music would not only be supporting his career, but also his falsified image as a squeaky-clean young gentleman. It is with great regret that we must ask this, however we hope that you will take this into serious consideration.
