Let's make this pledge to 3DSP and Syntek Semiconductor to make their WiFi/Bluetooth drivers Open Source so that the Linux Kernel can support them.

Why? Simply because netbooks and other users have this wonderful piece of hardware, but unfortunately their support for Linux is quite bad.
