Jericho Scott is a 9-year old boy who has the exceptional gift of being able to pitch at 40MPH. As a result, The Youth Baseball League of New Haven has banned this exceptional young boy of his desire to pitch little league baseball. This course of action has proven that the league has abandoned the core principles of encouraging children to do their absolute best when participating in a team sport. Instead, the banning of Jericho Scott tells children to play the game as long as it's not to your full potential.

The league's position has shown that ignorance takes precedence over the encouragement for a child to do their best.

As a result, we the Undersigned plead to the office of New Haven Mayor John DeStefano Jr to intervene over this matter and seek resolution that will allow Jericho Scott to be reinstated back to the league and rejoin the active roster of his little league team sponsored by Will Power Fitness.
