To Jon Stewart & the producers of the Daily Show,

We hereby request that you interview Chicago author and self-described 'voice of his generation' Stephen Markley.

Markley has recently published his first book, a masterpiece entitled 'Publish this Book,' a touching and hilarious memoir of the realization of his dearest dream, publishing a book.

Careful reading of the book reveals that a close second would be appearing on your program. As described in the text, your program was a shining beacon of light when all else was confusion and suffocating darkness. Your name is strewn throughout the text in glowing, some might say pornographically effusive terms.

More importantly, we firmly believe that Markley would make a fantastically entertaining guest for your legion of easily amused viewers. We believe you would find in him a kindred spirit, one whose snide witticisms and snappy comebacks, like you, help navigate a world that can be so harsh, to two such fragile, tender-hearted creatures whose only wish is to love and be loved.

Such a confluence of two such great minds would be too beautiful for words... and.. we're sorry. We're getting all choked up here... we need a moment..
