Stop The Asylum's "Mockbuster" Rip-offs

Over the years, i have come to appreciate the form of entertainment that is Film, more so recently than ever. Is it too much to ask for to want to watch something original, something with depth to it, something well written, something that is great to look at and something that we enjoy? No, it isn't. Many films do just that for us but they're becoming harder and harder to find now.

One company in particular has caught my attention for all the wrong reasons, a company that unashamedly rip-off many major movies, releasing them straight to DVD when the proper film was just/about to be released in cinemas, a company who have become incredibly unoriginal, a company who's films are poorly written, that are completely rushed, often unnecessarily more gory and rip-off innocent people who just want to watch a film. I am talking about The Asylum. What started off as there own version of War of The Worlds developed around the same time as the more familiar version (The one with Tom Cruise) released in 2005 (and an obscure 3rd version) became their defining trait. Now we have films such as Sunday School Musical, Transmorphers, The Da Vinci Treasure and Monster (Based off Cloverfield, the others are more obvious). I don't want to see them completely stop production on all their films, just the Mockbusters. I am asking for your help by signing this petition, which if it gains enough signatures, will be sent to The Asylum, to try and stop this practice once and for all by them.
