64 bit for DVC 170

Dear Pinnacle,

You do not have a 64 bit driver for the DVC 170, or a 64 bit driver for it at all. Vista and Windows 7 have been released with no support for a 64 bit driver.

However, you have a 64 bit driver for the 100, 101, 103 and 107 series.

The support request yielded.

I apologize but DVC-170 is only supported on windows Vista 32 bit. Also I am not sure if there will be a driver for it that will make it work on Windows 7 64 bit.

Which is pathetic. You can't continue to sell a product if your not going to create compatible drivers. The product should be discounted or recalled, if they won't support a driver.


Please make a 64 bit driver :)

    • bought the DVC-170 to be hardware independent and future-proof. Avid offered me $15 off software upgrade that was unnecessary - it's hardware! and yes, I can d/l the free XP virtual machine emulator and run that way - but why?
