Dear Councilwoman Fran Hunter,
Please vote NO on the proposal to change the Town of Ramapo's Comprehensive Plan in order to down-zone the Patrick Farm property. The high density nature of this proposal is incompatible with the surrounding community and will put an undue strain on our natural resources.

- Before making the decision that will forever change the topography, environment and socio-emotional climate of Ramapo, please simply go walk the Patrick Farm property. Revel in the beauty, listen to the birds, watch the wildlife and absorb the serenity and naturally-busy quiet for which Ramapo residents have moved here for generations. When you're done - drive 2 miles down route 306 and get a glimpse of the future of the blissful space you just left. If one zoning variace ever had the potential to devastate an enormous communnity treasure and life as it is meant to be, this is it.

- I have the audacity of hope to believe that the Council will do the right thing in the 11th hour for Patrick Farm and not become instruments in the destruction of the Town we all love. We can not handle this level of overdevelopment. Our quality of life is critically threatened.

- I was born and raised in Rockland and still live here. Every day I mourn the beautiful county it used to be only 30 years ago. We need to push back against developing even more of our precious open space. There are blighted former shopping areas that should be redeveloped before destroying open green spaces. Once paved over, they are never rejuvenated. Please SAVE Patrick's Farm. Thank you!

- The County infrastructure (roads sewer and utilities) are already strained. This amount of density effects all of Rockland. Take a ride down Route 306 in Monsey and let me know if you like what you see, because thats what most of the area will eventually appear as. This sets a bad presidence for future development projects. This is downsizing on steriods!!!!
