This petition is designed to encourage the scale model industry to release a completely new tooling of the MiG-25 Foxbat 1/72 scale. The Hasegawa kit is noticeably deficient in several key areas, particularly in the shape of the fuselage and air intakes. It also does not address the considerable number of different variants that were produced of this remarkable aircraft. With more and more info coming out from Russia, there is now more than adequate information to make a really accurate model. The MiG-25 was a very famous aircraft in its day, and deserves far better treatment. We'd like to see either a state-of-the-art retool by Hasegawa, or a new kit done to Tamiya standard.

We believe it's about time a decent kit of this aircraft was produced.
If you have been wanting such a kit, please take a moment to add your approval. Please be precise/specific if you choose to add details of versions, colour schemes, etc that you would like to see included in the kit.
