We, the students of USD 305, know that Digg.com is a neccesary resource students need for current events. The media in this day and age is highly corrupted. They cloud our view of what is really happening in the world. For example, certain news outlets obviously lean towards specific presidential candidates. On Digg, the world decides what news is important, not elitists. Kindly unblock Digg.com so that our student body can be appropriately informed of news.

- In no way, is Digg counter-productive. Might I add that it is not the duty of MIS to selectively choose what news is allowed to the students, but to ensure that our learning environment is safe, open to different ways of thinking, and overall productive.

- Blocking Digg is no different than blocking anyother news website. It just shouldn't be done. I mean it's not like we live in China.

- Digg is my non-bias portal to current events both in and out of school. It connects me to many different websites, and if any of these websites has innapropriate material then they are blocked so there is no reason to block Digg!
