I want to delete all pages that have the meaning of "emo" on it. Each and every day young eager teens go on the computer and learn about things. They try new things and styles. One of the most popular Style is "emo". "Emo" is a put down used by most teenagers these days. The more they use the word the more kids will dress "emo". "Emo" has been targeted by the news and media creating a new wave of "emo" kids. Now my problem with "emo" is people always think "emo" kids cut themselves and are sad. This is not all true. Some kids like the style and want to try new things. People criticize "emo" kids for dressing the way they do. That makes them "haters". "Haters" made a day called "emo beat down day". I'm not sure how that went but I heard stories that some kids got badly beaten up. The kids in Mexico got a harsh beating from people. I ask why? They are just kids. Why do people care so much to keep a culture going by hating it and making it into the news? If you want something to stop then take all the info of it off the internet. I want all Info on Emo gone so confused and curious kids dont go cutting themselves because the internet told them to.

    • How I dress is my own business. I personally like the color black because it has so much potential, but I am sick of being labeled for this. I do not feel that it is right or fair that I am judged based upon some predefined notion of how I should act because of my clothing preference. If you do not agree with my choices, I apologize, but I would ask that you at least attempt to get to know me before putting such a name upon me. Thank you.

    • I highly agree with this; all but one thing. The cutting issue. Cutters can be anyone; from the "emos" to the "preppies" to the "skater punks", or whatever stereotype you wish to use. In everyday life, if someone finds out you cut, they call you an "emo poseur", when in reality, you are not even trying to be emo whatsoever, and rather try to steer around being called that. Anyway, rant done ;D
