Hi. We are people that play the Sims series of games.
In mid-March of 2008, EA announced The Sims 3.
We got two updates on the site, and then no updates
for 3 or 4 months. Then, we got one new screen-shot,
and a whole bunch of new un-answered questions.
This is a petition for a new, big update about The Sims 3,
hopefully a trailer or a create-a-sim game.

    • Us simmers have been awaiting very patiently,and although we are very greatful for the information so far,it has been a very long time since we had any new updates.And since TS3 isn't being released until 2009,it would really help if there is a TS3 Create-A-Sim tool released over the summer of 2008,so simmers can experience some part of TS3 while they await the games official release.And we understand that EA and the Sims 3 team are hard at work on the game,we'd really appreciate if there was more pictures,information,and a trailer released.

    • On the forums on thesims2.com we were told by a maxoid that they were working hard on an update. A month or so has past since then and we haven't gotten our update.

    • I understand that you guys have a lot on your plate creating the gameand all, but my sims computer is broken and I'm liteally hanging onto info of TS3, and I' apreciate a few more screenshots or an in-progress gameplay clip.

    • I feel that waiting 4 months for information is rediculous. If you can't release information consistantly, you should not have announced the game so early.

    • its a shame to keep us waiting when many of your loyal fans have been counting down the days to feb,we were nearly there ,got xcited only for you to change the date,like two whole weeks, thats not fair.

    • This new release date is absolutely BOGUS!!! EA should keep thier word and release the game as promised to its devoted fans!!! There is no legitmate reason for the delay other than greed in an already bad economy! If I can't get the game when promised I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING IT UNTIL THE WINTER!!! I cannot believe the way EA is treating us as consumers, this is soooo OUTRAGEOUS!!! There should be an option to purchase for those of us that want it now!!! And a little Business 101 for you so-called analyst and fat cats, word of mouth of a HAPPY CONSUMER IS THE BEST ADVERTISEMENT EVER AND IT GIVES AND IT SPEAKS VOLUMES...I MEAN LIKE WHERE DID YOU REALLY GET YOUR DEGREES IN MARKETING..HELLLLLOOOO????!!! Also this would give those that have never played the game an opportunity to play it on a friends system to get hands on awareness of the franchise. I think EA needs me on their marketing team, I got like everyone in my family playing the game all by myself, so just imagine how many people I can talk out of it!!
