This petition is for the preservation of the BMX trails/jumps located in Duncan Park, 9th St., Austin, Texas.

We request the City of Austin continue to support and condone the BMX trails located in Duncan Park in thier current situation.

We ask the city to allow us to continue doing what we have done in this park for the past 20 years, to build BMX jumps, trails, and obstacles for all people to enjoy.

We ask that the city work with us, keeping open communication of all issues regarding Duncan Park.

We ask that the city work with us to provide landscape supplies to stop erosion and beautify the park.

We ask that speed bumps be installed on 9th street to slow traffic that could harm a cyclist or pedistrian.

We ask that the city continue to empty the trash cans as we police and clean the trails daily.

We ask that water fountain or water spigott be installed for drinking, as well as trail maintenance.

We ask that the city allow the local riders/builders retain creative control of the park.

We ask that the city donate dirt and tractor time at their convenience to assist with the creation and maintenance of the BMX trails.

We ask that the city cooperate with other BMX trail areas within thier jurisdiction to establish similar agreements. Such as Sundaze trails, Eastside trails, Walnut Creek Pump Track, & Bouldin Creek REDBOX trails.

We ask that the city recognize the economic and civic benefits of what we have created.
