RECALL THE TOSHIBA A70

Are you the Author?
We the owners of the Toshiba Satellite A70 and it's related series of products hereby demand that Toshiba issue a full recall or buy back offer to remedy the myriad of defects that plague this laptop.

These issues are most commonly reported but not limited to: frequent lock ups, shut downs, reboots, crashes, loss of sound, usb ports not working, firewire port not working and more.

Toshiba is well aware of these issues and has thus far done nothing.

    • I also have both problems, with satellite a70, only a few months old. This machine has given me nothing but trouble, and is definatlly the last toshiba product I will be purchasing. I'm greatly offended by the denial of the problem, and the lack of action, on toshiba's part.

    • My Toshiba Satellite 3000 from 2001 has never needed service. I wanted to upgrade for speed. If I'd only known how awful the A70 is, I would have bought something else. I've had it less than 8 months.
