THAT a student built zero energy home (ZEH) conceived, designed, built and executed by students of Lansing Community College would give each participating student extensive hands-on experience in the field of their chosen study.

THAT we are utilizing this petition as a means to garner any necessary permission, permits and land use by the West Campus Dean, Deb Cole and any voting board member to build a ZEH.

THAT aforementioned ZEH shall be built using donated materials and funds and should not exhaust Lansing Community College of any additional funding for this project unless designated by the Dean and/or board.

THIS petition is for academic years, 2009 and 2010.

THEREFORE, we, the undersigned, students and faculty of Lansing Community College draw attention to West Campus Dean, Deb Cole and any necessary voting board member, to the following: permission, permits and land use to build a zero energy home on campus grounds (LCC West Campus).
