In May Appalachian Electric Power was denied its attempts to increase our electrical rates. We, the undersigned, believe that AEP should not be allowed to raise our electrical rates again. These increases are hurting us, the small business owners and families of the 20th Senatorial District.

    • I think they just make us pay whatever they come up with because its not like we can switch elec. companys they are the only one so its either pay it or have no elect.. so this needs to stop!!!!

    • In the worse months last year my bill was never over 120.00 Hello 200.00. I will not sign up for budget cause I could end up paying a lump sum of God knows what. I am really concerned abou my parents with low fixed income. WHen do the consumers finally get a break? It is just the icing on the cake. Already dropped cable. I have no choice with you guys. Highway robbery.

    • How can any utility company raise their rates to this outrageous level knowing full well the impact it will have on their customers?? Elderly people freezing, lowering their thermostats to try to keep the bill within their budget. It isn't like cutting back on a discretionary cost. This is a necessity! This type of corporate greed and bottom line thinking has got to be stopped.

    • I honestly can't beleive that someone would pass and implement a rate increase with the economy the way it is. Do you not have any regard for the American people? After seeing my electric bill that went from $233.00 to $500 I would have to say NO you don't !! How about giving a choice between 2 or 3 electric companies? Why should AEP be our only option??
