This petition is aimed at the Burger King Company to remove their Sponge Bob "I like square butts" commercial. For something to be aimed at children we find this unacceptable. Shame on you Burger King.

    • Burger King, this is a shameful way to aim sales at our youth. Your company has stooped low with this rectless idea. Remove the commercial or we will remove our business!

    • Inappropriate. girls shaking their booties, regardless of shape, is inappropriate for a business that claims to be family-oriented. and to the makers of sponge bob- sponge bob is either a children's character or an adult's character. make up your minds. it can't be okay sometimes to watch sponge bob and not okay other times. not only is this commercial inappropriate, it is obnoxious and it proves to me that your establishment is a far cry from having any class.

    • When I first saw this commercial, I thought it was a joke. I am absolutely disgusted by this commercial. My friends and I have boycotted Burger King AND Nickelodeon due to this commercial.

    • This commercial is stupid. Why would you use big butts to sell fast food when obesity is such a problem?

    • Burger King's Happy Meals in which Spongebob is offered is aimed at "toddlers", have one...??? they are tiny little beings that find boogers amusing, In what world is it right to show/ aim a salacious commercial at toddlers, a barely tame rapper video's with scantily clad girls dressed in short skirts, bouncing behinds, talking about 'booty'... appropriate??? ***In marketing 'sex' sells--apparently our toddlers need some 'square booty', some sexy 'booty calls' and a man to remind them that fat or thin, booty is booty--I'll screw anything! Adults yes... but the projected market profile is 2-5 yr olds, not 20-20 yr olds... This is beyond creepy for BK, but I guess one can lower their standards to make a buck when the economy tanks... It's not like this hasn't been tried before, I seem to remember commercials catering to young kids offering access to cigarettes and alcohol--all because they are future consumers? Save it for MTV... My daughter is 29 yrs old...a college kid with a few marketing classes--this co

    • There is a BK within walking distance from my house, but as long as this commerical is being aired, I'll be driving the 5+ miles to other fast food places rather than support this obscene commercial (because being marketed to such young children, it IS obscene!)
