TRAIN NOISE COMPLAINT ANOKA, MN.

We, the people of Anoka County MN, including the towns of Anoka,Ramsey,Coon Rapids,Blaine and Andover respectfully request revisions regarding Quiet Zones for railroad trains.
The nightly trains pass through,continually (non-stop) blowing the horns with extreme noise.
Thousands of residents are having so many (completely) sleepless nights due to these trains,that it's become a dangerous health hazard to thousands of young & aged, alike.
Something must be done. Soon.
Please hear us.

    • This noise is effecting both public & private life. It is severly disturbing the education of students at the school located on Ferry Street . Other anoka areas of this line has no horn regulations in effect. This should be a given. It would help increase property values as well.

    • I live in Ramsey, a mile north of the rail line, yet the horns are very obtrusive - even with the windows always closed because of them. And we must be approaching over a 100 trains a day now? That's a train every few minutes - day and night.

    • There is no reason for the horns to be sounding when there are already flashing arms in place
