I am a resident of bacoor, cavite. We have a very serious traffic problem. Every morning, we have to endure long hours of traffic. Traffic in bacoor is not normal. Think of this, it takes me like 3 hours from Imus to Justinville (subdivision I go home to) which has a distance of 500 meters, yes 3 hours because of heavy traffic. I could have done lots of things in those 3 hours. I work at home online, and I earn U$100/hour, so U$300 goes to waste because of heavy traffic. I'm sure most bacoor/cavite residents are also affected.

I can't imagine the hardships of those students, workers and employees that are commuting everyday to and from school, work, etc. I really pity them, specially those students who are making efforts to wake up early just to go to school, but they end up being late because of the traffic. And I also pity those employees who earn minimum, but get deducted because they are late for work.

The main reason why there is heavy traffic in bacoor is the buhos system they're always implementing. Whenever I ask traffic enforcers why traffic is so bad, they always blame the road construction of Maynilad. I don't think this is true, even if there is a construction going on, traffic wouldn't be that bad. If the flow of traffic is going slowly but steadily, it would still move. But no, we are always stuck in traffic for like an hour or more.

Traffic enforcers are obliged to do the buhos thing every single day except for Sundays. That's an order to them by their boss. But I don't think the buhos system accomplishes anything. First of all, it creates this funnel-like flow in traffic, once you're at the end of the buhos, you tend to cut other drivers just to get in line. Second, even if there's not much vehicles, they still implement the buhos system. Third, they always implement this buhos system but still, they don't bother putting enforcers in intersections so vehicles always block intersections. For example, buhos is ongoing for southbound vehicles. Of course, northbound vehicles are stopped, and intersections are blocked. I always experience this, whenever I'm southbound and I'm from the subdivision, I can't pass because vehicles are blocking my way. Most of the time it would take me 30 minutes just to cross the highway. Aren't they supposed to put enforcers given that they already know when they stop vehicles northbound, they always block intersections?

I am calling the attention of my fellow drivers, please, if there is an intersection and your way is stopped or even if it's just traffic, give way. I don't see the point why you have to block the intersection.

What do you think will happen if they tried to stop the buhos system? I really hope they could try it even for a week, so they will finally see that they really are the ones who are causing this traffic problem.

This problem is too serious to be put aside. We are wasting time, money, effort, and gas.

I am calling the attention of the public officials and those who are in charge of the traffic enforcers in Bacoor. You are public servants so you should think what will be best for the people, not for yourselves.

- I am from Dasma. I endure two-four hours of traffic twice daily because of this traffic system. I also believe that the buhos sytem do nothing better to alleviate our traffic situation. As a passenger, I would rather have the slow-moving traffic than be left stuck in a place where I dont even have idea whats going on. Its harder when I have to endure more than one buhos during one travel. Please, do something about it.

Halos matunaw na sila sa mura ng mga tao balewala lang. makakapal pa ang mukha. hindi ko alam kung ano napapala nila sa buhos system na yan. di naman sila ang nale-late at bumibyahe. sa sa intesersection lang ng evangelista /coatal rd. aabutin ka ng 30 min bago makatawid. Grabe kagaguhan yan. ang estudyante na-late dahil hindi makatawid. KAHIT ANONG BUHOS ANG GAWIN NILA HINDI NILA MAUUBOS ANG MGA SASAKYAN NA PUMAPASOK AT LUMALABAS NG CAVITE. - I live in Dasma (student) and it sometimes it takes me 3 hours of travel just to get to Manila (UST). There was even one time when it took me 5 hours just because of the buhos. I even received a warning letter regarding my tardiness( or failure due to absences)

- Buhos system is the worst traffic scheme! Saan ka makakakita na nakatigil ang sasakya mo for 1 hour or more. It takes almost 3hours para makapunta ka ng baclaran from dasmarinas. tsk'. And makikita mo ung mga traffic enforcers na naguusap lang at ngangisi habang ikaw asar na asar na! b*llsh*t. Wala nmn silang nagagawa kundi kumawaykaway lang. Napakabrilliant ng nakaisip ng BUHOS system na yan, which makes your travel time in cavite SUCH A WASTE OF TIME. Mga cavite government officials ANO bang gingawa nyo?! Ha?!

- This humungous traffic in Cavite started in early to mid 1990's, until now, its already 2011, its still a major problem of Cavite residents. Please listen to the people of Cavite...the buhos system is NOT effective!!! Please do something about this. Ung 45 mins n byahe mula cvite city hanggang baclaran, 1-1/2 na hndi p kmi nkakalampas ng niyog! Ano n namang kabaliwan ng pamahalaan ng bacoor ito! Nglagay ng Cavitex s tingin b nila dadaanan un ng pampasaherong bus? Mag isip nga cla my pasahero bng mpupulot dun? Di yun ang solution plitan nla ang traffic mgt team ng bacoor! - May 30, 2011.. I left cavite city at 6.10 AM reach SM Bacoor at 7.05 AM reach makati office at 9.30 AM. Di ko maimagine na from Cavite City hanggang costal road will take two and half hours! Sa 15 minutes na stop mga 10 seconds lng aandar at ang daming napeperwisyo na mga pasahero pati mga drivers. Ang dami daming traffic enforcer wala namang ginagawa kundi igalaw lang ng igalaw ang mga kamay nila. Wala rin namang use ang cavitex sa mga commuters dahil hindi naman pedeng daanan yun ng bus. Sana bigyan to ng action ng Bacoor Traffic Management or Bacoor Government dahil sobrang nakaka abala yung traffic. Kahit na anong aga mong umalis ang ending late ka pa rin! Sa mga local officials ng Bacoor wag puro pa pogi lang! Dapat bago kayo nag bigay ng permit na mag hukay ang Maynilad at pag bubukas ng Cavitex dapat pinag aralan nyo mabuti yung mga alternative route na dadaanan ng mga sasakyan!!

- i am working in Mandaluyong Area and i live in Dasmarinas, i need to woke up 4am and i should be travelling 5:30am but i always end up late because of that traffic. i came to office past 9am daily. could you imagine that? and going home is also the same story, its harder for me because I am always standing in the bus, and standing for 2-3 hours because of that traffic.
