In the summer of 2006 Biedas Power Sports motocross track was shut down due to a complaint. This has had a negative effect on the motocross community as a whole. Biedas was a controlled and monitored environment, for families to safely ride their dirt bikes. This was the only legal dirt bike track in the Niagara region and now because it has closed, riders have to travel hours away. Some riders have resorted to riding their dirt bikes and ATVs in illegal places which can be dangerous. There are many families in the Niagara Region who need a safe and controlled area to ride their dirt bikes. There is noise reducing products out on the market today that would address any noise issues. This sport is very popular with families and Biedas is a perfect place for these families to have a good time riding legally.

    • Biedas motocross track has been a safe fun place for the motocross community to gather and enjoy a sport that we love. With losing biedas as a place to ride it has forced us to not only travel further away to find legal places to ride but as well as increasing the temptation to just go out and ride in random fields which is not only unsafe but as well as illegal. With the re opening of Biedas MX track it would not only benefit the motocross community but as well as the people who own land that we are illegally riding on just so we can still do something we love. To the motocross community motocross is not just a a passtime it is a full on passion and commitment.
