    • This is our petition and what we have written, we have written. The reason we have founded this petition at this time is that Blair's deceitful Iraq dossier is the 'final straw'(pun un-intended). We, the people of the UK, have suffered enough as a result of Blair's lies, greed, and lack of leadership. Five years is more than enough!

    • I do not support this petition. If you can't be bothered to spellcheck your petition heading, you don't deserve to attract any support for your cause. In any case like the politicians you ought to think of the consequences of this fanciful resignation. Who do you propose replaces Blair? He cannot act alone without the support of his cabinet and if you suggest Clare Short steps into the breach, your thinking is as off the wall as this petition. Let the UN Weapon Inspectors make their full report and await a second resolution from the UN Assembly. That's my advice to Tony Blair. My advice to you is to get real.

    • Congratulations on your petition. Best of luck. PM TB has screwed things up for too long. He is the PM, therefore he is responsible for his actions and those of HIS cabinet ministers. They all must go. Anne and John, not to worry about your inadvertent misspelling error. It happens to all of us. If Tony Blair was only guilty of only a misspelling error, then he and the country would be in great shape. Instead, he plagiarised other people's work, spelling and grammar mistakes included, and published it as his own official document. To Kit Davidson, it's always a small-minded person with a large mouth and an empty brain who points out such trivial items as spelling errors. The world is on the brink of nuclear war and you're concerned about something so miniscule. Kit Davidson, you are the one who needs to get real.

    • The time has come for him to get the hell out. He is the worst PM we have ever had. He has been continually sucking up to Bush and cannot think for himself. The longer he stays he is drawing this country into the biggest mire going. He knows the Iraq situation is about OIL and not about terrorism. He has no compassion that he will be sending thousands of innocent children and women to their deaths if he goes ahead with the war. I have never and will never trust him. Anthony Charles Lynton Blair get out of No 10 and take your brood with you.

    • TB is a public servant and should serve the will of the people. It is his responsibility to act in the best interests of you, me and my/your children. In my opinion he has failed his obligations to the British people. This potential war is the invasion of another country without a reasonable justification and for the first time in many years, we are the agressor, this isn't right and can't be allowed to happen. According to British law, Iraq is innocent until proven guilty, when there is proof beyond a reasonable doubt, only then there will be a case to answer.

    • Anyone who has the slightest doubt as to why a 'labour' government can be so enthusiastic about privatisation and bombing Iraq should refer to Karen Talbot's work on Yugoslavia at http://198.63.57.245/millitary_build.html

    • OIL is what Poodle B. Liar wants! His master, George Bush only wants him to support him so that most of the allied deaths are British. Down with Blair!

    • This country needs to learn how to stand on its own two feet, not follow the so-called Big Powerful One. We simply can't afford the war, and it doesn't have anything to do with us, so why take the unnecessary risk?

    • So, OK. If this proposed invasion of Iraq is really about Saddam hiding weapons of mass destruction, then by declaring War on Iraq, Mr Hussain's hand will be forced and he will use these weapons against us, so come on Mr Blair, resign before you get us all killed!
