Noting Article 2 of THE WORLD CHARTER FOR CETACEA
"Article 2
The cetacean family are highly evolved in brain size and structure, adapted for a marine existence. They are sentient, warm-blooded mammals, endowed with reason and with the right to unrestricted movement. Capture from their environment to supply dolphinaria is an immoral and cruel practice. Therefore not one single cetacean shall be held in confinement or forced into servitude."
We the undersigned citizens and NGOs therefore condemn the policy of the Solomon Isles Government in sanctioning the capture of dolphins for sale into the slavery of dolphinaria.
Furthermore we pledge to boycott export produce from the Solomon Isles and also boycott the Isle as a tourist destination until the Government acknowledges International outrage and stops the captures.

- The world doesn't need this type of "entertainment"- for such petty greed, this behaviour is unacceptable from a civilised government. Please refrain from doing this.

- Please, please stop. If it would be utterly unthinkable to kidnap humans and have them perform for others 'pleasure' then why do you feel justified to do this to the dolphins? They were born and raised in the ocean and that is where they are meant to stay!

- It seems the more "civilsed" we become, the more destructive we become. What about our responsibility to cherish and respect ALL living creatures as God asked us to do
