Xbox Live Gold is too Expensive for Families.

Microsoft has had Xbox Live Available to people starting in 2002 for $49.99(yearly)

In 2005 (with the release of Xbox 360) Xbox Live was Available in Gold and Silver Status.

Gold = $49.99(yr): With Gold you get everything Xbox Live(XBL) has to offer. Online Gaming, Downloads, Party Groups, etc..

Silver = Free : With Silver you could not play online with friends, or video chat, Silver is just for Gamertags, Avatars, and Downloads.

XBL is (arguably) the best way to experience online gaming, online communication with family/friends, movies/TV downloads, and video chat with a console.

The price is reasonable for a single person for what it offers..

But for families it can be expensive.

The Price of XBL, for more then one person in a household is to high.
Microsoft needs to offer a Family Package of XBL so everyone in the family can enjoy what XBL Gold has to offer.


This petition is to let Microsoft know that Families want to enjoy everything Xbox Live Gold has to offer, but do not want to break the bank when using it.

    • I think Xbox Live should be a "per console" payment, meaning $60 covers 5 or so profiles being considered "Gold" accounts per Xbox. It would be great for MS's newfound approach to family and casual gamers.
