Respectfully I would like to focus your kind attention towards the wrong circumstances which my family and I encountered in the Netherlands.
On account of strangulation as well as hazardous atmosphere available or have been created for me, I Djafar Khoshbakhat Fahim accompanied with my family on 6th of January 2001 abandoned my homeland Islamic republic of Iran and escaped to the Netherlands in order to take an appropriated protection for my family as well as my new born baby. Since in my thought the Netherlands was a cradle with regards to human and social rights and advanced in consideration of freedom, therefore I inquired for the asylum protection.
After approximately 5 years of residence in the refugees camps and being deprived of most of our rights, unfortunately the Netherlands authorities renounced our application to asylum and placed us in close camp to deport us to Iran.
In the closed camp, the authorities put us under sever pressure to sign some papers to facilitate our deportation. Since we resisted and opposed the deportation due to fear of persecution upon arrival into Iran and I began to hunger strike. Therefore they have forwarded us to the prison forcefully with some sorts of humiliation. In the Netherlands the child who is 5 years can be put in jail even sinless.
We where imprisoned for as long as 220 days, in that period we were under sever mental pressure in order to sign the necessary documents for the deportation and we were resisting. After that long term of imprisonment, on 8th of March 2006 they released us in the city and left us alone shelter less.
My question to your honour as well as all human rights organizations that are concerned and active in the field of human rights is for what charge my child who was 5 years to be punished by 220 days and sentenced to the Jail? Who is responsible and responsive to this criminal act against a child of 5 years by placing him in prison without charge?
Ultimately I appreciate and request your honour and respectful corresponding agencies related to the children affairs to take appropriate investigation on merit of the case and kindly accomplish sufficient and necessary action in order to maintain the rights of the children during the exile period
