Dear Chiranjeevi garu and party officials,

We, supporters of change in political system, you intend to bring through your political entry, want you to consider the following aspects to be included in party agenda to promote transparency in governance.

What we are expecting from you is to make every public authority to provide at least the following information on its own to the public at regular intervals through various means of communications, including their websites, so that the public have minimum effort to obtain information about how their taxes/government are working for them.

This information is what we want to be put out in public domains:

 The particulars of public authoritys organization, functions and duties;
 The powers and duties of its officers and employees;
 The budget allocated to each of its agency, indicating the particulars of all plans, proposed expenditures and reports on disbursements made;
 The manner of execution of subsidy programmes, including the amounts allocated and the details of beneficiaries of such programmes;
 Particulars of recipients of concessions, permits or authorizations granted by it;
 The procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability;
 The norms set by it for the discharge of its functions;
 The names, designations and other particulars of the Public Information Officers;
 Publish all relevant facts while formulating important policies or announcing the decisions which affect public;
 The monthly remuneration received by each of its officers and employees, including the system of compensation as provided in its regulations;
 Such other information as may be prescribed; and thereafter update these publications every year;

This would mean enforcing the sub-section (2) of Section (4) of RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT, 2005, which is required by Law but not applied by governments.

This we believe would usher a great change in the perception of government programs among common people and eradicate the corruption brewing behind the blurred faзade of public institutions.
