The state of Colorado no longer recognizes the validity of any permit issued by any state to a nonresident of that state (see CRS 18-12-213 amended 2007)
Colorado also recognizes very few permits from other states, due to regulations, criteria and or differences in qualifications, and requirements.
There is not full reciprocity with the rest of the country.
We The People of The United States as law abiding, tax paying voting gun owners are respectfully requesting the state of Colorado to create a 'Colorado Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit' for residents of other states who can legally and lawfully own firearms.
This petition is in the interest of The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, as well as for the protection and safety of those traveling to, from and within the state of Colorado and their families.
Several other states offer a non-resident concealed carry permit, or 'license to carry firearms' to those who meet specific qualification and requirements. We are asking the state of Colorado to offer the same to those who qualify.

- Our 2nd Amendment Rights should NEVER be challenged! If it weren't for law abiding concealed carrying taxpayers, this beautiful country would develop leaders who would sneak communism in as our political way of life. Legal gun owners keep our government in "Check", which NO OTHER country can claim. Hence, why most people all over the World dream of coming to America!

- Colorado is beautiful and has many great places to visit, but if I am deprived of my ability to protect myself and my family, I do not feel safe and will not be traveling in or through, or spending any money in Colorado.
