"A YouTube for All of Us"

I, the YouTube user, respectfully petition that you, YouTube.com, fix the changes that you have made in order to make YouTube what it was: "A YouTube for All of Us".


A. Remove the "algorithmically demoted" rule regarding profanity and find a better system for protecting the children of the community. Such systems may include but not limited to:

1. Having any videos that contain profanity and/or sexually suggestive content be moved to a section for a more adult audience. These videos will not be allowed to be reached unless an user has made an account and is within the age range guidelines for said section.
2. Including a warning box above any videos containing inappropriate videos in order that if an user does not want to hear profanity or see sexually suggestive content they do not have to watch the video containing it.


B. Any removals of videos should be warranted. If an user is not informed of why the said video was deleted, he or she should be able to upload the same video again.


C. Bring bulletins back. Bulletins are needed for the preservation of the YouTube community. It has been noted that many have complained about the said bulletins.

1. To fix this problem, simply make it optional to have bulletins sent or not. If an user does not wish to receive bulletins they may change the settings so that they are not sent.

2. Another idea would be to have it that only certain friends of yours may send you bulletins.


D. Make contacting YouTube admins easier by making the "Community Help Forums" available to users that do not have a GMail account.
