    • i don't now him that well, bout i now from steve that he was a good friend , and that steve/head and brian was really good friends and jason was too? steve and jason still some times hang out together we thank that the skatepark should be named after brian deneke, god bliss the family and we love them . your friends steve and christine and are son taylor lee. i hope this can help

    • Any Amarillo official with very little research will know who Brian Deneke was and why he would be a wonderful name to use for the Amarillo Skate Park for Tolerance. I feel fortunate to have traveled around the world, and it is young people like the person Brian was that represent kindness and tolerance and going beyond appearances to appreciate people for who they are. Brain's death resulted from a prejudice, a horrible intolerance. However, through this tragic waste of life many people in Amarillo realized that it didn't matter what kind of clothes you wore, or what color your hair was, and young people came together to try and heal a community divided by appearances and social circles and other material items that don't tell the whole story of an individual. Brian Deneke Skate Park would be a wonderful name and represent an important message for skaters and park visitors of all ages. Please consider his name!
