After five seasons on Desperate Housewives, Nicollette Sheridan, who plays the saucy, sassy Edie Britt, is leaving the show, TVGuide.com has confirmed. "[Nicollette] had a great time on the show and is looking forward to her next project," a rep for Sheridan said in a statement.
Now, Desperate Housewives Fans from all over the world makes this "petition online" asking ABC not to kill Sheridans character. If Nicollette Sheridan wants to leave the show for one or two seasons itll be ok, but, please, do not close a door for her comming back in the future.
Nicollette gives the show a fresh air and is a character that everybody talks about (love or hate) and is part of Desperates Soul.
Here is the sign of every fan that supports the actress.

Ahora, fans de Mujeres Desesperadas de todas partes del mundo hacen una peticiуn conjunta por que su personaje no se vaya definitivamente de la serie. Si la actriz desea salir de la serie para avanzar en su carrera, que al menos no se cierre las puertas para que los fans la podamos volver a ver en un futuro.
Nicollette es un toque de frescura para la serie, un personaje que no deja a nadie indiferente (se ama o se odia, pero es parte del alma de Desperate Housewives).

- Nicollette Sheridan is the best actress ever!! her role in the series is not very important but she gives it a touch escencial. Because, we ask you that she comes until the end of the series. I am consents of that you need to extract someone, but in this case I recommend to Dana Delany, which also is a very good actress but does not have so many personality like Edie does it.
