FIFA have made changes to UEFA Playoff Format.
All teams will be seeded now.
These changes to PLAYOFF have only been confirmed since the groups are coming to a closure with some highly ranked Teams needing Playoffs to qualify. This is highly unfair and unjust to the lower seeded teams who have worked hard to qualify in Top 2 of their related groups.

    • This is a disgrace. A clear example of FIFA changiong the goalposts to line their pockets. When making this decision, which is no doubt based on advertising revenues, did FIFA consider that Ireland bring more away fans to major tournaments than any other nation bar possibly the English? We bring atmosphere, colour and REVENUE but without hooligan elements or hassle. Congratulations on disenfranchsing more fans.

    • A disgrace. Seedings should not come into it. All second place teams should be equal. Once more Fifa suits itself by adding in rules which were not made clear beforehand. This should not be allowed,. If 2 so called bigger nations randomly draw each other in the play offs then so be it.
