In December 2002,Viz Communications, in association with SHUEISHA Inc. finally brought the Premiere Japanese Manga anthology Shonen Jump to the United Sates. It features such titles as Dragon Ball and One Piece that have brought Shonen Jump to the height of popularity that it has today. Regardless of such strong titles, 3 legendary series in their anthology are missing, they are Saint Seiya, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Kinnikuman.

Saint Seiya by Masami Kurumada is a story about a young saint by the name of Seiya with his friends Shun,Shiryu,Ikki and Hyogah who have vowed to protect the goddess Athena from the resurrected evils that have come to take over the world. Their adventures have taken them from every span of the world, including Greece, Atlantis and even hell itself. The series spans 22 volumes and is currently airing on Japanese Satellite under the name "Saint Seiya:The Hades". The series is currently seeking U.S. Distubution via DiC and ADV. A TV dub named "Knights of Zodiac" is currently been produced by ADV and DiC ,while an Uncut version simply named "Saint Seiya" will be released by ADV.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a very long and complex series by Hiroshiki Arai, the story starts in the 16th Century when young boy is rescued by the Joestar family. Unknown to the Jostar's is the fact the young man named Dio Brando is a Vampire, seeking the blood of his family, young Josepth must defeat Dio in battle. The series starts in the 16th century, but as the series progresses, the timeline changes. The next series takes place in the 18th century, shortly after, they go into 1986,from there, they head to 1999 and into the 21st century. This series has been a staiplehold for Shonen Jump as it is still running after a wopping 40+ Volumes. This series has also been shown in anime form, im 1993,an OAV was based on the 3rd part of the series, with a prequel to the previous OAV made in 1998. Also,Capcom produced 2 video games, one was based on the 3rd part as well, it was released on Dreamcast and on Playstation soon after. The 2nd game named "Gio Gio's Bizarre Adventure" has been release in Japan and is currently going to appear in the United States sometime in Febuary 2003. Currently, Super Techno Arts has the rights to the OAV series in the United States.

Kinnikuman, or as it known by it's many Names such as "M.U.S.C.L.E" and curently as "Ultimate Muscle: the Kinnikuman Legacy" has been a hit in Japan, in 1979 by Manga duo Yudetamago, Originally a gag manga, Kinnikuman soon grew into a very serious series. the story tells the explodes of a Chojin (Superhero)named Kinnikuman, trying his best to get by life as an underdog Superhero ,he goes by life been an underrated underdog, but it all came to a halt when Kinnikuman Meats Alexander Meat from the planet Niku,he tells Suguru (his maiden name) about his past and vows to train to become the most power Chojin to become the King of his planet. Along the way,he meats new friends and new Adversaries such as TerryMan, Robin Mask, Blocken Jr., Buffalo Man, Kinostuman, Sunshine, Satan Cross, Ramen Man, Geronimo, Rikishiman, Warsman, the Nynja and many more characters that would become famous. Currently, a new Kinnikuman Manga series (Kinnikuman Second Generations) is published in Japan and the anime to the manga is also airing in Japan (but sadly, it has ended in 12/25/2002),and the popularity of the series is bigger then ever. Curently, 4Kids entertainment, who's Propertys such as Pokйmon and Yu-Gi-Oh! Have been astronomically popular worldwide and still continue to generate revenue worldwide own the rights to Kinnikuman and to Kinnikuman Second Generations and is currently airing Second Generations as "Ultimate Muscle" on Fox.

These series have been extremely popular worldwide and these series have been steadily growing in popularity in the United States and been published in Shonen Jump will increase it's very popularity. These series, with it's current and pending TV and Video exposure will improve their popularity much bigger.

so the call is out on the right holders, People in the U.S. and worldwide will have their voices heard to bring these heroes back, this is the "Forgotten Jump Heroes" Petition and these heroes will rise again.
