Revision of Ohio Consumer fireworks Laws

Hello my fellow Ohioans and fellow Americans:

Thank you for taking the time to review this petition for change of the Ohio consumer fireworks laws. Ohio currently bans all types of fireworks, except novelty types (sparklers,poppers, etc). Ohio does however allow the sale of fireworks if the buyer agrees to take them out of the state within 48 hrs. As we know this doesn't always happen, and on the 4th of July and New Years you can see all kinds of fireworks going off and being enjoyed. Its time for a change and our state Representatives agree, so lets try to make a change for the better. Fireworks are legal and used safely in 39 states, lets make Ohio the 40th state.
