Stop the deportation of Farhan Zakaria

We the undersigned ask that the High Court upholds Farhan Zakarias appeal against deportation to Bangladesh on the grounds that he has been resident in the UK for the last 12 years after entering the country on a visa without a time limit.

Farhan was educated in the UK and for the last year has been an invaluable teacher at Sarah Bonnell School in Stratford, London teaching community and world languages. Farhan has exactly the sort of skills that are needed in our schools, our community and our country.

    • I studied art and design at leyton sixth form college with Farhan and find him an exceptional human being. I do not think it is right for him to be told he has to leave this country (UK) after 12 years of his life, as his relationships, friends and morals as well as values have been developed in the uk. If he is deported back to Bangladesh he will be a foreigner in the country he was born
